Buschmann fordert bessere Koordinierung bei Verfolgung von Kriegsverbrechen
Die G7-Staaten wollen die Verfolgung russischer Kriegsverbrechen in der Ukraine künftig besser koordinieren. Zum Auftakt der Beratungen der G7-Justizminister sagte Bundesjustizminister Marco Buschmann (FDP) am Dienstag in Berlin: "Wir müssen dafür sorgen, das diese Anstrengungen noch besser miteinander vernetzt werden." Es gehe etwa darum, doppelte Arbeit zu vermeiden und Beweismittel so sicherzustellen, dass die Antwort auf diese Kriegsverbrechen dem Prinzip des fairen Prozesses gerecht werde.
"Das ist eine gewaltige Aufgabe, deswegen müssen wir uns besser vernetzen, besser koordinieren", sagte Buschmann weiter. "Wir müssen hier effizienter werden." Es müsse zudem dafür gesorgt werden, dass Menschen, die Opfer von Kriegsverbrechen geworden sind, nicht unnötig häufig belastet werden. "Denn das sind natürlich traumatisierende Erlebnisse."
Buschmann verurteilte erneut das Vorgehen Russlands in der Ukraine scharf. Die Taktik, Menschen ohne Heizung und Strom einem Winter auszusetzen, in dem es bis zu minus 30 Grad kalt werden könne, sei "verbrecherisch", sagte er. Bislang seien insgesamt 45.000 Fälle registriert, zudem befänden sich 200 Tatverdächtige in Verfahren.
Deutschland hat in diesem Jahr den Vorsitz der Gruppe von sieben führenden Industriestaaten (G7) inne. Mitte November hatten bereits die G7-Innenminister Russland "grausamste Verbrechen" vorgeworfen und über ein gemeinsames Vorgehen bei der Strafverfolgung beraten. Zur G7-Gruppe gehören neben Deutschland auch Frankreich, Großbritannien, Italien, Japan, Kanada und die USA.
