Bundespolizisten finden 31.000 Euro in Innenfutter von Jacke
Bundespolizisten haben an der deutsch-niederländischen Grenze rund 31.000 Euro im Innenfutter der Jacke eines Manns gefunden. Der 29-Jährige saß als Beifahrer in einem Auto, wie die Bundespolizei im niedersächsischen Bad Bentheim am Mittwoch mitteilte. Wegen des Verdachts auf Geldwäsche wurden die im Innern des Kleidungsstücks eingenähten Geldbündel beschlagnahmt, die weiteren Ermittlungen zur Herkunft übernahmen Spezialisten von Polizei und Zoll.
Laut Bundespolizei gelang der Aufgriff zu Wochenbeginn bei einer Kontrolle auf der Autobahn 30 bei Bad Bentheim. Der 29-Jährige und der 35-jährige Fahrer verneinten unter anderem die Frage nach anmeldepflichtigen Geldbeiträgen. Bei der Durchsuchung der Jacke des Beifahrers fiel den Einsatzkräften dann deren Gewicht auf. Im Innenfutter fanden sich dann die etwa 31.000 Euro. Bei dem Fahrer wurde darüber hinaus eine geringe Mengen Drogen gefunden.
