Betrüger erbeuten in Regensburg fast hunderttausend Euro mit Unfalllüge
Ein 78-Jähriger hat in Regensburg fast hunderttausend Euro an Betrüger übergeben, die ihm am Telefon eine erfundene Geschichte erzählten. Dieser Lüge zufolge sollte seine Tochter einen tödlichen Verkehrsunfall verursacht haben, wie die Polizei am Mittwoch mitteilte. Ein fremder Mann sei dann zur Wohnung des 78-Jährigen gekommen.
Dieser habe ihm das Geld an der Haustür gegeben. Die Kriminalpolizei ermittelt nun wegen Betrugs. Sie bittet um Zeugenhinweise und weist außerdem darauf hin, dass niemals Geld an Unbekannte übergeben werden solle. Wer am Telefon unter Druck gesetzt werde, solle auflegen und den Polizeinotruf 110 wählen.
