Über 30 Jahre nach Mord an Frau in Nordrhein-Westfalen Tatverdächtiger ermittelt
In einem sogenannten Cold-Case-Fall ist mehr als 30 Jahre nach dem Mord an einer Frau in Nordrhein-Westfalen ein Tatverdächtiger ermittelt worden. Die Staatsanwaltschaft Düsseldorf erhob gegen den 63-Jährigen, der sich wegen eines anderen Kapitalverbrechens bereits in Haft befindet, Anklage, wie die Polizei in Düsseldorf am Dienstag mitteilte.
Der Mann steht im dringenden Verdacht, vor mehr als 30 Jahren eine damals 50-jährige Frau in Meerbusch-Büderich ermordet zu haben. Identifiziert wurde der Tatverdächtige im Fall "Mord im Maisfeld" den Angaben zufolge nach umfangreichen Ermittlungen der Düsseldorfer Mordkommission sowie "akribische Untersuchungen" des Landeskriminalamts Nordrhein-Westfalen. Polizei und Staatsanwaltschaft wollen am Donnerstag über den Fall informieren.
Die ZDF-Sendung "Aktenzeichen XY...ungelöst" hatte im November 1993 über sogenannte "Morde im Maisfeld" berichtet. In einem Fall ging es um die Fremdenführerin Sigrid C., die im August 1992 als vermisst galt. In einem Maisfeld bei Meerbusch wurde schließlich ihre Leiche entdeckt. Die Kriminalpolizei ging damals von einem Sexualmord aus. Die Suche nach dem Täter brachte aber zunächst keinen Erfolg.
