Acht mutmaßliche Geldautomatensprenger nach Verfolgung in Niedersachsen gefasst
Die Polizei in Niedersachsen hat acht mutmaßliche Geldautomatensprenger nach einer Verfolgungsjagd festgenommen. Das teilten die Beamten am Freitag in Oldenburg mit. Die Verdächtigen sollen in der Nacht einen Geldautomaten an einem Verbrauchermarkt in der Stadt gesprengt haben.
Nach Einleitung der Fahndung entdeckten die Beamten die mutmaßlichen Täter in einem Auto gegen 04:20 Uhr auf der Autobahn 1. Der Wagen raste der Polizei jedoch zunächst davon. Später fanden die Beamten das Auto mit einem Reifenschaden an einer Straße, die Insassen waren aber bereits geflohen. Die acht Verdächtigen gingen dann wenige Stunden später bei der Kontrolle zweier Fahrzeuge ins Netz der Polizei. Die Ermittlungen dauerten an.
