Flughafenverband hält Probleme in sommerlicher Hauptreisezeit für möglich
Der Passagierandrang während der diesjährigen Sommersaison könnte nach Angaben des deutschen Flughafenverbands ADV für manche Airports zu einer Belastungsprobe werden. "Die Bewältigung der Hauptreisezeit im Sommer wird je nach Flughafen fordernd sein", sagte ADV-Hauptgeschäftsführer Ralph Beisel den Zeitungen des Redaktionsnetzwerks Deutschland (RND) vom Sonntag. Er verwies auf fehlende Mitarbeiter. Noch immer werde an Flughäfen händeringend Personal gesucht.
Es habe aber zahlreiche Maßnahmen gegeben, um die Situation in diesem Jahr zu verbessern, fügte Beisel an. Dazu zähle eine Einsatzflexibilisierung der Mitarbeiter, sowie eine Anpassung der Verträge zwischen Bundespolizei und privaten Dienstleistern. In den Osterferien habe die Abfertigung reibungslos geklappt. Gleichwohl sei es für vollständige Entwarnung noch zu früh. "Die volle Leistungsfähigkeit der Abläufe zeigt sich erst in den Sommermonaten."
In dieser Zeit seien Terminals, Vorfelder und auch der von der Flugsicherung kontrollierte Luftraum "dauerhaft Höchstbelastungen ausgesetzt", sagte der Hauptgeschäftsführer des Verbands-. Für die Branche sei es wichtig, den Passagieren "Vertrauen und Verlässlichkeit in den Luftverkehr zurückzugeben".
