Ehemann nach Fund von toter Frau in Brandenburger Wohnhaus als Täter ermittelt
Eine in einem Brandenburger Wohnhaus tot aufgefundene Frau ist nach neuen Erkenntnissen von ihrem Ehemann getötet worden. Die Ermittlungen der Mordkommission hätten den Verdacht eines Tötungsdelikts bestätigt, erklärte am Donnerstag die Polizei in Cottbus. Eine Obduktion habe die Identität der Frau "zweifelsfrei" klären können. Es handelt sich demnach um die 48-jährige Ehefrau des Tatverdächtigen.
Dieser erlag noch in der Nacht zum Donnerstag schweren Brandverletzungen. Einsatzkräfte hatten den 67-Jährigen am Mittwoch aus einer brennenden Garage in der Gemeinde Kroppen geborgen. Im zugehörigen Wohnhaus, das nicht brannte, wurde gleichzeitig eine leblose Frau entdeckt - die nun identifizierte Ehefrau des Manns.
Alarmiert hatte die Beamten ein Nachbar, zu dem die verletzte 24-jährige Tochter des Ehepaars gelaufen war und um Hilfe gebeten hatte. Die Ermittlungen zum genauen Ablauf des Geschehens und den Hintergründen dauerten weiter an.
