Erneut kurzzeitiger "Löwenalarm" bei Berliner Polizei
Knapp zwei Wochen nach der Aufregung um eine vermeintlich freilaufende Löwin am Berliner Stadtrand hat in der Hauptstadt zumindest kurzzeitig erneut Raubtieralarm geherrscht. Wie die Berliner Polizei am Mittwoch in dem inzwischen in X umbenannten Kurzbotschaftendienst Twitter mitteilte, meldete ein Mann am Dienstag eine entsprechende Beobachtung aus einem Park im Stadtteil Dahlem. Beamte überprüften die Meldung, gaben aber schnell Entwarnung. Es war ein Plüschtier.
Auf Twitter veröffentlichten die Beamten dazu ein Foto, das eine lebensechte größere Löwenstoffpuppe auf einer Art Verteilerkasten zeigte. Die Polizei reagierte unter Anspielung auf die Suche nach der vermeintlichen Löwin an der Grenze zwischen Berlin und Brandenburg mit Humor. "Diesmal ist jeder Zweifel ausgeschlossen: Das ist kein Wildschwein", schrieb sie. Auch Nutzer stiegen scherzhaft ein. "Nur keine voreiligen Schlüsse ziehen", antwortete einer. "Das sollten sich Experten nochmal genau ansehen", schrieb ein anderer.
Nach der Sichtung einer vermeintlichen Löwin bei Kleinmachnow in Brandenburg hatten hunderte Polizisten und Wildtierexperten vor rund zwei Wochen mehr als 30 Stunden lang ein waldreiches Gebiet am Berliner Stadtrand durchsucht. Von den Behörden hinzugezogene Experten kamen nach einer Auswertung eines von Zeugen aufgenommenen Videos aber zu dem Schluss, dass dieses lediglich ein ungewöhnlich helles Wildschwein zeigte. Die Suche wurde daraufhin beendet.
