26-Jähriger nach Enkeltrick mit mehr als hunderttausend Euro Schaden festgenommen
Nach einem Telefonbetrug in Baden-Württemberg mit einem Schaden von mindestens hunderttausend Euro ist ein 26-Jähriger festgenommen und in Untersuchungshaft genommen worden. Die Festnahme des Manns sei in Hannover erfolgt, teilten Polizei und Staatsanwaltschaft in Ulm am Freitag mit. Er soll eine 83-Jährige im Raum Göppingen in Baden-Württemberg um Gold und Geld betrogen haben.
Bei der Festnahme im August befand sich der Mann in Begleitung einer 22-jährigen Frau. Beide waren zuvor von Polen nach Deutschland eingereist. Die Beamten beschlagnahmten Bargeld und zahlreiche Mobiltelefonen. Deren Auswertung dauerte an.
Laut Polizeiangaben war die 83-Jährige im August Opfer von sogenannten Enkeltrickbetrügern geworden. Eine Frau gab am Telefon vor, die Enkelin der Seniorin zu sein. Sie sitze in Haft und müsse mit einer Kautionszahlung befreit werden. Ein Mann holte daraufhin Geld und Goldmünzen im Höhe eines unteren sechsstelligen Betrags bei der Seniorin ab.
Der Haftbefehl gegen den 26-Jährigen wurde vom Amtsgericht Ulm erlassen und vom Amtsgericht Hannover vollzogen. Die 22-jährige Frau wurde nach einer Vernehmung auf freien Fuß gesetzt. Die Ermittlungen dauerten an.
