49-Jährige stirbt bei Reitunfall in Niedersachsen
Eine 49 Jahre alte Frau ist in Niedersachsen bei einem Reitunfall während einer Schleppjagd ums Leben gekommen. Ihr Pferd sei gestürzt und auf die am Boden liegende Reiter gefallen, wie die Polizei in Celle am Dienstag mitteilte. Die Frau erlag noch am Unfallort ihren schweren Verletzungen.
Den Angaben zufolge versuchte die Reiterin bei der Jagd am Samstag in der Gemeinde Südheide, mit ihrem Pferd ein etwa ein Meter hohes Hindernis zu überspringen. Das Pferd blieb jedoch an dem Hindernis hängen und überschlug sich. Dabei fiel das Tier auf die inzwischen am Boden liegende Reiterin. Ein alarmierter Notarzt konnte die 49-Jährige nicht mehr retten.
