Zwölf Jahre Haft für 38-Jährigen nach tödlichen Schüssen in hessischem Fulda
Weil er einen anderen Mann in Fulda nachts auf der Straße erschoss, soll ein 38-Jähriger für lange zeit ins Gefängnis. Das Landgericht der hessischen Stadt verurteilte den Angeklagten am Donnerstag zu zwölf Jahren Haft wegen Totschlags. Der Fall hatte in der Region großes Aufsehen erregt.
Laut Anklage soll der 38-Jährige im April vergangenen Jahres mit seinem späteren Opfer, das ebenfalls 38 Jahre alt war, in der Wohnung eines Bekannten in heftigen Streit geraten sein. Dann habe er aus der Wohnung eines anderen Freunds eine Pistole geholt und sei zurück zum Stadtbezirk Aschenberg gefahren. Als er das spätere Opfer wieder getroffen habe, habe er fünf Schüsse abgefeuert.
Der Mann erlitt vier Steckschüsse und verblutete noch am Tatort. Im seit Anfang Januar laufenden Prozess forderte die Staatsanwaltschaft zwölf Jahre Freiheitsstrafe wegen Totschlags, die Verteidigung plädierte auf Freispruch. Das Urteil gegen den 38-Jährigen ist noch nicht rechtskräftig. Er kann noch Revision einlegen, über die dann der Bundesgerichtshof entscheiden würde.
