Angriff auf Polizisten zu Silvester in Berlin: 23-Jähriger verurteilt
Im Prozess um einen Angriff auf Polizisten in der Silvesternacht in Berlin hat das Amtsgericht Tiergarten einen 23-Jährigen zu einem Jahr und sieben Monaten Haft auf Bewährung verurteilt. Das Gericht sprach den Angeklagten am Mittwoch wegen schweren Landfriedensbruchs, gefährlicher Körperverletzung, tätlichen Angriffs auf Vollstreckungsbeamte sowie wegen Widerstands gegen Vollstreckungsbeamte schuldig, wie eine Gerichtssprecherin mitteilte.
Zudem muss er dem Urteil zufolge 150 Stunden gemeinnützige Arbeit leisten. Das Urteil ist noch nicht rechtskräftig.
Der 23-Jährige soll der Anklage zufolge in der Nacht zum 1. Januar in Berlin-Neukölln an gewaltsamen Ausschreitungen gegenüber der Polizei beteiligt gewesen sein. Der Angeklagte sei Teil einer etwa 20-köpfigen Gruppe gewesen, aus deren Menge heraus mit Schreckschusspistolen und Platzpatronen auf Beamte geschossen wurde. Er selbst soll mindestens drei Schüsse abgefeuert haben.
Die Beamten standen dabei etwa zehn bis fünfzehn Metern entfernt von der Gruppe. Ein Polizeibeamter wurde von einem Projektil im Nacken getroffen. Er erlitt anhaltende Kopfschmerzen und einen kurzzeitigen Gehörverlust.
