Ermittler beschlagnahmen 40 bei Bahntransport gestohlene halbautomatische Waffen
Ermittler haben in Norddeutschland 40 während eines Bahntransport gestohlene halbautomatische Schusswaffen wiedergefunden und beschlagnahmt. Zwei Verdächtige seien von Spezialeinheiten der Polizei festgenommen worden, teilten die Bundespolizeidirektion Hannover und die Staatsanwaltschaft Lüneburg am Donnerstag mit. Ihnen werde gewerbs- und bandenmäßiger Diebstahl vorgeworfen.
Bei dem Diebesgut handelte es sich nach Angaben der Ermittler um voll funktionsfähige Schusswaffen, die äußerlich einem Sturmgewehr ähneln. Die Waffen seien im Verlauf eines Bahntransports gestohlen worden. Weitere Details - etwa dazu, wo die Waffen gestohlen und später beschlagnahmt wurden - teilten die Behörden zunächst nicht mit. Weitere Einzelheiten zu ihren Ermittlungen wollten sie aber am Freitag in Hamburg bekanntgeben.
