Ermittlungen nach Schüssen auf FDP-Lokalpolitiker in Baden-Württemberg eingestellt
Mehr als ein Jahr nach den Schüssen auf einen baden-württembergischen FDP-Kommunalpolitiker hat die Staatsanwaltschaft Ulm die Ermittlungen eingestellt. Es habe kein Täter ermittelt werden können, teilte die Behörde am Freitag mit. Nach Ausschöpfung aller sich bietenden Ermittlungsansätze sei auch unklar geblieben, was das Tatmotiv gewesen sein könnte.
Anhaltspunkte für einen Zusammenhang zu weiteren Schusswaffendelikten im Bereich Stuttgart, Esslingen und dem Filstal in den Monaten vor der Tat habe es nicht gegeben. Am 19. März 2023 war der Politiker in seiner eigenen Wohnung in Hattenhofen bei Stuttgart angeschossen worden. Den Ermittlungen zufolge wurden mehrere Schüsse von außen durch ein Fenster abgegeben. Für den Mann bestand keine Lebensgefahr.
