Zahlreiche Passagiere sitzen nach Unglück in Seilbahn in der Türkei fest
Nach einem tödlichen Seilbahnunglück in der Türkei haben dutzende Passagiere die Nacht zum Samstag in luftiger Höhe ausgeharrt. 29 Insassen warteten am Morgen weiter auf Rettung, nachdem ein Stützpfeiler der Seilbahn nahe dem Urlaubsort Antalya eingestürzt war. 137 Passagiere konnten nach Behördenangaben nach dem Vorfall aus 19 Seilbahnkabinen gerettet werden.
Ein Stützpfeiler der Seilbahn Sarisu-Tünektepe in den Bergen nahe Antalya war am frühen Freitagabend gegen 17.30 Uhr umgeknickt und hatte eine Kabine getroffen. Dabei brach der Kabinenboden auf, die Insassen stürzten in felsigem Gelände in die Tiefe. Ein Mensch kam ums Leben, zehn weitere Menschen wurden nach Angaben des Gesundheitsministeriums verletzt.
Acht Hubschrauber und mehr als 600 Rettungskräfte waren im Einsatz, um die Passagiere der Seilbahn zu bergen. Die Behörden leiteten Ermittlungen zur Unglücksursache ein.
