Prozesstermin gegen mutmaßlichen Teilnehmer von versuchter Reichstagsstürmung aufgehoben
Das Amtsgericht Berlin-Tiergarten hat einen angesetzten Termin zur Verhandlung gegen einen mutmaßlichen Teilnehmer der versuchten Reichstagsstürmung im August 2020 aufgehoben. Der Angeklagte habe sich kurzfristig krank gemeldet, teilte eine Gerichtssprecherin am Freitag mit. Dem 49-Jährigen werden unter anderem Widerstand gegen Vollstreckungsbeamte, versuchte Körperverletzung und Beleidigung zur Last gelegt.
Der Mann soll am 29. August 2020 Teil einer Gruppe von rund tausend Menschen gewesen sein, die nach Auflösung einer Demonstration in Berlin-Mitte versuchten, das Reichstagsgebäude zu stürmen. Als Polizisten den Platz räumten, soll er einen Beamten beleidigt, einen weiteren geschlagen und unter anderem als "Volksverräter" beschimpft haben.
Das Amtsgericht erließ gegen den 49-Jährigen zunächst einen Strafbefehl über 120 Tagessätze je 15 Euro, insgesamt 1800 Euro. Damit wäre er vorbestraft gewesen. Der Angeklagte legte jedoch dagegen Einspruch ein, weshalb eine Hauptverhandlung angesetzt wurde. Ein neuer Verhandlungstermin wurde der Gerichtssprecherin zufolge noch nicht festgesetzt.
