Bewusstlos in Kassel aufgefundener 55-Jähriger stirbt an Kopfverletzungen
In Kassel ist ein 55-Jähriger an schweren Kopfverletzungen gestorben, nachdem er bewusstlos vor einer Kirche gefunden wurde. Am Samstagabend entdeckten Passanten den bewusstlosen Mann auf dem Kirchenvorplatz, wie die Polizei in der nordhessischen Stadt am Mittwoch mitteilte. Im Krankenhaus stellten Ärzte schwere Kopfverletzungen fest.
Da sowohl ein Sturz als auch eine Straftat als Ursache in Betracht kamen, nahmen die Beamten die Ermittlungen auf. In der Nacht zum Dienstag erlag der 55-Jährige seinen Verletzungen. Eine Obduktion ergab, dass eine Fremdeinwirkung Grund für die Verletzungen war. Die Polizei ermittelt nun wegen eines Tötungsdelikts gegen Unbekannt und sucht nach Zeugen. Unklar waren zunächst die Hintergründe der Tat.
