Geldstrafe für spanischen Ex-Fußball-Nationalspieler Silva wegen Handgemenges
Der frühere spanische Fußball-Nationalspieler David Silva ist wegen eines Handgemenges mit einer jungen Frau bei einem Straßenfest zu einer Geldstrafe verurteilt worden. Der Mittelfeldspieler muss wegen des Vorfalls auf den Kanaren 1080 Euro zahlen, wie aus der Gerichtsentscheidung hervorging, die der Nachrichtenagentur AFP am Donnerstag vorlag. Die Auseinandersetzung hatte sich im Juni während der Karnevalsfeiern in Maspalomas auf Gran Canaria ereignet.
Dem Urteil zufolge war Silva in eine "Rauferei zwischen mehreren Menschen" geraten. Er gab demnach zu, eine junge Frau gepackt zu haben. In der Folge stürzte diese und erlitt leichte Verletzungen, darunter eine Schramme am linken Ellbogen und Schürfwunden an Knien und Beinen. Zwei weitere Beteiligte bekannten sich in dem Verfahren schuldig und wurden ebenfalls verurteilt.
Silva war 2010 mit Spanien Weltmeister geworden und 2008 und 2012 Europameister. Nach zehn Jahren bei Manchester City war er 2020 zum Verein Real Sociedad im nordspanischen San Sebastián gewechselt.
