Lebensgefährlich Erkrankter an Münchner Flughafen vor Abflug bewahrt
Bundespolizisten haben am Münchner Flughafen einen lebensgefährlich Erkrankten vor dem Abflug und damit vor einem möglichen Notfall in der Luft bewahrt. Wie die Bundespolizei am Montag mitteilte, war der 46-jährige US-Bürger wohl mit seiner Frau auf Urlaubsreise in Bayern, als er am Freitag die Notaufnahme einer Münchner Klinik aufsuchen musste. Diese konnte er kurz nach der Untersuchung wieder verlassen.
Wenig später erkannten die Ärzte aber, dass sich der Mann eine lebensbedrohliche innere Verletzung zugezogen hatte, die ohne unmittelbare Behandlung zum Tod führen konnte. Kontaktdaten des Patienten lagen ihnen den Angaben zufolge nicht vor. Bekannt war nur, dass der Mann am Folgetag offenbar mit seiner Frau zurück in die USA fliegen wollte. Daraufhin verständigte das Klinikpersonal die Münchner Polizei, welche die Kollegen der Bundespolizei am Flughafen informierte.
Diese fanden heraus, dass der Gesuchte auf einen Vormittagsflug nach Washington gebucht war und die Grenzkontrolle bereits passiert hatte. Die Beamten konnten den 46-Jährigen jedoch noch am Abfluggate antreffen. Das Boarding für den Flug stand zu diesem Zeitpunkt demnach bereits kurz bevor. Der Mann wurde anschließend von alarmierten Rettungskräften in eine Klinik im Umland des Flughafens gebracht, wo er behandelt wurde.
