Musical-Star Ute Lemper hat keine Lust mehr auf Tournee-Stress
Musical-Star Ute Lemper hat nach der Auszeit während der Corona-Pandemie keine Laut mehr auf das stressige Tournee-Leben. "Ich gehe jetzt weniger auf Tour", sagte die 59-Jährige der "Augsburger Allgemeinen" vom Samstag. "Ich mache nur noch die Konzerte, die mir wirklich wichtig sind, und bin wesentlich mehr zu Hause als vor der Pandemie."
Sie habe es genossen, während der Pandemie "auch einmal ohne diesen Druck" zu leben, sagte Lemper. "Ich war dann einfach zu Hause, wir hatten nicht einmal eine Putzfrau und führten ein ganz einfaches, schlichtes Leben." Diese Phase habe ihr "eine völlig neue Perspektive eröffnet, die auch jetzt noch nachwirkt".
Die in Münster geborene und international erfolgreiche Musicaldarstellerin und Chansonsängerin lebt seit vielen Jahren in New York. "Ich würde auf jeden Fall sagen, dass New York meine Heimat ist", sagte Lemper der "Augsburger Allgemeinen". "Aber ich bin im Herzen Europäerin und Deutsche und gleichzeitig New Yorkerin."
