Tom Hanks für drei Goldene Himbeeren nominiert
Bei der Oscar-Verleihung geht "Elvis" als einer der Favoriten ins Rennen, Schauspieler Tom Hanks hat der Film aber gleich zwei Nominierungen für die Goldene Himbeere eingebracht: Wie die Veranstalter der "Razzies" am Montag mitteilten, ist Hanks, der in der Filmbiografie den Manager von Rock'n'Roll-Legende Elvis Presley spielt, unter anderem als schlechtester Nebendarsteller nominiert.
Hanks "und sein latex-überzogenes Gesicht" sind bei den Anti-Oscars außerdem in der Kategorie "schlechtestes Bildschirmpaar" nominiert. Die Veranstalter heben neben seinem aufwändigen Make-up auch seinen "lächerlichen Akzent" in der Rolle des Elvis-Managers hervor.
Sein Auftritt als Meister Gepetto im Disney-Remake von "Pinocchio" als Realfilm hat dem 66-jährigen Hanks noch eine Nominierung für eine dritte Goldene Himbeere als schlechtester Schauspieler eingebracht.
Als schlechtester Film des Jahres sind neben "Pinocchio" die Marilyn-Monroe-Filmbiografie "Blond", die Komödie "Good Mourning", der Fantasyfilm "The King's Daughter" und der Superheldenfilm "Morbius" mit Jared Leto in der Hauptrolle nominiert. Im vergangenen Jahr hatte Leto die Goldene Himbeere für den schlechtesten Nebendarsteller in "House of Gucci" erhalten.
Die Oscars werden am 12. März in Hollywood verliehen. Die Goldenen Himbeeren werden traditionell am Abend vor der Oscar-Gala vergeben. Die Preisträgerinnen und Preisträger erscheinen allerdings fast nie persönlich, um ihre Schmäh-Trophäen abzuholen.
