Nominierungen für Oscars werden verkündet
In Los Angeles werden am Dienstag (ab 14.30 Uhr MEZ) die Nominierungen für die diesjährigen Oscars bekanntgegeben. Erwartet werden unter anderem Nominierungen für Steven Spielbergs autobiografischen Film "Die Fabelmans", die schwarze Komödie "The Banshees of Inisherin" aus Irland, den Actionfilm "Top Gun: Maverick" mit Tom Cruise und die Science-Fiction-Abenteuerkomödie "Everything Everywhere All At Once". Nominierungen könnte es auch für die Blockbuster "Avatar: The Way of Water" und "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" geben.
Gute Chancen auf eine Nominierung als bester nicht-englischsprachiger Film hat das deutsche Anti-Kriegs-Drama "Im Westen nichts Neues" von Regisseur Edward Berger. Die auf dem gleichnamigen Roman von Erich Maria Remarque basierende Netflix-Produktion war zuletzt gleich 14 Mal für die britischen Bafta-Awards nominiert wurden. Die 95. Oscars werden am 12. März in Hollywood verliehen.
