Schauspielerin Vera Tschechowa mit 83 Jahren gestorben
Die Schauspielerin und Produzentin Vera Tschechowa ist tot. Sie starb am Mittwoch nach kurzer schwerer Krankheit im Alter von 83 Jahren, wie die Agentur Nicolai am Donnerstag in Berlin mitteilte.
Tschechowa hatte ihre Filmkarriere 1956 als Heinz Erhardts Filmtochter in "Witwer mit fünf Töchtern" begonnen. Ihre erste Hauptrolle spielte sie 1957 in "Noch minderjährig" neben Paula Wessely. Später war sie in Kino- und Fernsehfilmen wie "Schreie der Nacht" (1969), "Krebsstation" (1970), "Desperado City" (1981), "Blaubart" (1984) oder "Rausch der Verwandlung" (1988) zu sehen.
Auch am Theater machte Tschechowa Karriere. Sie spielte unter anderem auf Bühnen in Berlin, Hamburg oder München. Mit ihrem Ehemann Vadim Glowna gründete sie zudem die Produktionsfirma Atossa Film GmbH, welche die Regiearbeiten ihres damaligen Manns realisierte.
Tschechowa wurde am 22. Juli 1940 in Berlin als Tochter der Schauspielerin und Filmmanagerin Ada Tschechowa und des Arztes Wilhelm Rust geboren. Ihre Großmutter war die Filmschauspielerin Olga Tschechowa. Der bekannte russische Dichter Anton Tschechow war Vera Tschechowas Urgroßonkel.
