"Spiegel": Service für privilegierte Deutsche-Bahn-Kunden wird reduziert
Die Premium-Kunden der Deutschen Bahn müssen sich auf Abstriche bei ihren Privilegien einstellen. Ab März reiche es für den Zugang zu den Lounges in den großen Bahnhöfen nicht mehr, den nötigen Status im Treue-Programm BahnBonus nachzuweisen, berichtete der "Spiegel" am Freitag vorab aus seiner neuen Ausgabe. Stattdessen müsse zusätzlich ein gültiges Fernverkehrsticket gezeigt werden. Bisher hätten manche Statusinhaber offenbar die Lounges besucht, ohne überhaupt eine Bahnreise anzutreten, schrieb das Magazin.
In den Premiumbereich der Lounges, in dem alkoholische Getränke und kleine Snacks angeboten werden, kann bislang ein Gast mitgebracht werden. Diese Möglichkeit werde abgeschafft, schrieb der "Spiegel" weiter. Die Premiumbereiche seien zuletzt häufig überfüllt gewesen. Unter der sehr hohen Auslastung hätten "die Atmosphäre, der Service und die Sitzplatzverfügbarkeit", gelitten, hieß es dem Bericht zufolge von der Bahn.
Der Konzern plant laut "Spiegel" noch eine weitere Änderung: Die Ausgabe von Papier-Zeitungen in der 1. Klasse der Fernzüge werde abgeschafft. Die Belieferung ende diese Woche, schrieb das Magazin unter Berufung auf einen beteiligten Verlag. Die Bahn erklärte demnach, Zeitungen gebe es an Bord künftig nur noch digital.
