Habeck lädt zum Windkraftgipfel
Wirtschafts- und Klimaschutzminister Robert Habeck (Grüne) hat am Mittwoch zum ersten Windkraftgipfel eingeladen. Vertreterinnen und Vertreter der Branche, aus den Ländern und weiteren Ministerien wollen beraten, wie der Ausbau der Windenergie in Deutschland beschleunigt werden kann. Nach dem Treffen im Ministerium ist eine Pressekonferenz geplant (16.30 Uhr).
Die Branche fordert vor allem ausreichend Flächen für den Bau von Windkraftanlagen. Dafür müssten das Zwei-Prozent-Flächenziel auf Ende 2025 vorgezogen und kurzfristig Zusatzflächen mobilisiert werden, bei denen es vor Ort wenig Konflikte gebe. Zudem bräuchten die Kommunen mehr Handlungsspielraum bei der Ausweisung von Flächen. Habeck hatte Anfang März bereits einen Solar-Gipfel veranstaltet - dort ging es ebenfalls um einen beschleunigten Ausbau von Anlagen.
