Frühjahrsbelebung auf dem Arbeitsmarkt fällt schwach aus
Die Zahl der Arbeitslosen in Deutschland ist im März mit der einsetzenden Frühjahrsbelebung gesunken. Auf Arbeitssuche waren 2,594 Millionen Menschen, das waren 26.000 weniger als im Februar, wie die Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA) am Freitag mitteilte. Der Rückgang sei aber "eher schwach" ausgefallen. Die Arbeitslosenquote blieb unverändert bei 5,7 Prozent.
"Der Arbeitsmarkt zeigte sich auch im März insgesamt robust", erklärte BA-Chefin Andrea Nahles. Die schwache Konjunktur hinterlasse aber Spuren: Die Frühjahrsbelebung setze nur verhalten ein, fuhr sie fort.
Im Vergleich zum März 2022 lag die Arbeitslosenquote um 0,6 Prozentpunkte höher, wie die BA weiter mitteilte. Die Zahl der Menschen auf Arbeitssuche erhöhte sich im Vorjahresvergleich um 232.000.
Die Zahl der Erwerbstätigen stieg nach aktuellen Daten der BA im Februar um 31.000 im Vergleich zum Januar. Im Vergleich zum Februar 2022 erhöhte sich die Zahl um 423.000 Menschen. Insgesamt waren im Februar damit 45,60 Millionen Menschen in Deutschland erwerbstätig.
