Zweijähriges Kind im Ruhrgebiet von E-Scooter angefahren und schwer verletzt
In Gelsenkirchen ist ein zweijähriges Kind von einem E-Scooter angefahren und schwer verletzt worden. Das Kind war mit seiner Mutter am Freitagabend in einer Fußgängerzone in der Innenstadt unterwegs, als es von einem Elektroroller erfasst und umgerissen wurde, wie die Polizei in der Ruhrgebietsstadt am Samstag mitteilte. Demnach schlug das Kind mit dem Kopf auf und erlitt schwere Verletzungen. Es wurde von einem Rettungswagen ins Krankenhaus gebracht.
Der E-Scooter war nach Zeugenangaben mit hoher Geschwindigkeit unterwegs, wie die Polizei weiter mitteilte. Passanten schätzten das Alter der Fahrerin auf zwölf bis 14 Jahre. Sie sei nach dem Unfall kurz stehen geblieben und habe mit der Mutter des verletzten Kindes gesprochen, sei dann aber zu Fuß weggegangen. Der Mietroller blieb zurück und wurde von der Polizei sichergestellt. Die Polizei veröffentlichte eine Personenbeschreibung der E-Roller-Fahrerin und bat Menschen, die Hinweise zu der Jugendlichen machen können, sich zu melden.
