Stiftung Warentest: Dispozinsen zuletzt stark gestiegen
Die Dispozinsen der Kreditinstitute in Deutschland sind nach einer jahrelangen Phase mit wenig Bewegung zuletzt wieder stark angestiegen. Im Schnitt zahlten Bankkundinnen und Bankkunden im Mai 11,22 Prozent Zinsen für ihren Dispo, wie die Stiftung Warentest am Donnerstag mitteilte. Vor einem Jahr waren es demnach 9,43 Prozent.
Die Tester nehmen regelmäßig die Dispozinssätze aller Banken in Deutschland unter die Lupe - das sind 1127 Geldinstitute. Ihre jüngsten Ergebnisse veröffentlichten sie in der Juli-Ausgabe der Zeitschrift "Finanztest". Die Höhe der Dispozinsen ist den Ergebnissen zufolge von Bank zu Bank sehr unterschiedlich. Die günstigste Bank verlangt in einem ihrer Modelle gar keine Gebühren, wenn das Konto überzogen wird, die teuerste 16,46 Prozent.
Als "zu teuer" stuft die Stiftung Warentest Dispokredite ein, die mehr als 15,25 Prozent kosten. Die Tester kritisierten dabei oft auch die intransparente Informationspolitik der Banken. "Statt einfach den geltenden Dispozinssatz zu nennen, geben sie beispielsweise an, auf welchen Referenzzins sie sich beziehen und um wie viele Prozentpunkte der Dispozins teurer ist", hieß es. Kundinnen und Kunden müssten dann selbst recherchieren und rechnen, das sei "albern und ärgerlich".
Die Tester verwiesen aber darauf, bei der Kontowahl nicht nur Dispozinsen, sondern vor allem auch die Kontogebühren zu beachten. "Ein Girokonto sollte nicht mehr als 60 Euro im Jahr kosten", hieß es. Dieses Kriterium erfüllten bei einer separaten Girokonten-Untersuchung 77 von 450 Konten.
