Chinas Großbanken senken Zinsen für Sparprodukte zur Ankurbelung der Wirtschaft
Chinas Großbanken haben die Zinssätze für eine Reihe von Sparprodukten gesenkt, um den Konsumanreiz zu erhöhen und so letztlich die Wirtschaft anzukurbeln. Daran beteiligt sind das kapitalstärkste Geldinstitut ICBC, die China Construction Bank (CCB), die Handelsbank BOC und die Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) - sie reduzierten einschlägige Zinssätze teils um 15 Basispunkte.
Die Maßnahme geht auf eine Forderung seitens der chinesischen Führung zurück und gilt seit diesem Donnerstag. "Die kleinen Banken werden sich dem womöglich anschließen", sagte dazu der Analyst Ting Lu von der Nomura Bank.
Chinas Wirtschaft öffnet sich derzeit nach dem Wegfall der strikten Corona-Maßnahmen wieder, jedoch hatten die Wirtschaftszahlen zuletzt enttäuscht. So brachen etwa die chinesischen Exporte im Mai um 7,5 Prozent ein. Für dieses Jahr hat die chinesische Regierung ein Wachstumsziel von rund fünf Prozent ausgegeben, eines der niedrigsten seit Jahrzehnten.
