Bericht: 37.500 Diesel-Berufungsfälle vor deutschen Oberlandesgerichten
Bei den 24 deutschen Oberlandesgerichten haben im vergangenen Jahr 37.500 Berufungen in Dieselfällen gelegen. Die Zahl sei wieder auf das bisherige Rekordniveau des Jahres 2019 geklettert, berichtete das Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland (RND) am Montag über eine Umfrage der "Deutschen Richterzeitung" bei den Gerichten. Auch mehrere große Landgerichte meldeten demnach hohe Eingangszahlen von Dieselfällen.
Die meisten Verfahren beträfen noch immer Volkswagen, aber die VW-Fälle seien an den meisten Gerichten rückläufig, zitiert das RND Sven Rebehn, den Bundesgeschäftsführer des Deutschen Richterbundes. "Dagegen häufen sich die Klagen gegen andere Hersteller wie Mercedes, BMW oder Audi teilweise massiv", sagte er dem RND. Ein Ende der Verfahrenswelle sei nicht in Sicht.
Zahlreiche Klagen wegen des Dieselskandals sind bereits in letzter Instanz vor dem Bundesgerichtshof (BGH) gelandet. Dieser verhandelt kommende Woche erneut darüber, wann die dreijährige Verjährungsfrist für Schadenersatzansprüche gegen VW begann.
