Taliban-Regierungschef ruft muslimische Länder zu Anerkennung der Regierung auf
Der Regierungschef der Taliban hat muslimische Länder zu einer offiziellen Anerkennung der Taliban-Regierung aufgerufen. "Ich rufe die muslimischen Länder auf, eine Vorreiterrolle zu übernehmen und uns offiziell anzuerkennen", sagte Mullah Mohammed Hassan Achund am Mittwoch in Kabul. "Ich hoffe, dass wir dann in der Lage sein werden, uns schnell zu entwickeln", fügte er mit Blick auf die massive Wirtschaftskrise im Land hinzu.
"Wir wollen keine Hilfe von irgendjemandem. Wir wollen sie nicht für die Beamten", sagte Achund und bezog sich damit auf die Regierungsvertreter. "Wir wollen sie für unsere Bevölkerung", betonte er. Mit der Wiederherstellung von Frieden und Sicherheit im Land hätten die Taliban alle notwendigen Bedingungen für eine Anerkennung erfüllt.
Bislang hat kein Land die Taliban-Führung offiziell anerkannt. Viele Länder sehen sich mit der Frage konfrontiert, wie die afghanische Wirtschaft gestärkt werden kann, ohne dass die Taliban finanziell unterstützt werden.
Afghanistan befindet sich in einer schweren Wirtschaftskrise. Die Lage der Bevölkerung wird durch den derzeitigen harten Winter noch verschärft. Seit der Machtübernahme durch die Taliban im August hat die internationale Gemeinschaft Milliarden an Guthaben und Hilfsgeldern für das Land eingefroren.
