Bundeskabinett beschließt Ausnahme für Weihnachtsbeleuchtung im Energiespargesetz
Die Bundesregierung hat eine Ausnahme für Weihnachtsbeleuchtung im seit Anfang September geltenden Energiespargesetz beschlossen. Das Beleuchtungsverbot gelte nun nicht "bei der Beleuchtung von Gebäuden und Baudenkmälern, die anlässlich traditioneller oder religiöser Feste (wie beispielsweise Weihnachten) installiert und betrieben wird", erklärte das Bundeswirtschaftsministerium am Mittwoch. Zudem soll das Verbot von Leuchtreklamen nur nachts gelten.
Die Energiesparverordnung war am 1. September in Kraft getreten und macht unter anderem Unternehmen eine ganze Reihe von Vorgaben: Ladentüren dürfen nicht dauerhaft offenstehen, Leuchtreklamen müssen ab 22.00 Uhr erlöschen, Denkmäler nicht angestrahlt werden. Am Arbeitsplatz sollen 19 Grad Raumtemperatur ausreichen, in öffentlichen Gebäuden bleiben die Flure kalt.
Das Leuchtreklameverbot galt ursprünglich bis 16 Uhr des Folgetages. "Dies haben wir nun auf die Nachtstunden bis 6 Uhr morgens reduziert", erklärte die stellvertretende Vorsitzende der SPD-Bundestagsfraktion, Verena Hubertz.
