Inflation schnellt im September voraussichtlich auf 10,0 Prozent
Die Inflation erreicht im September erstmals seit über 70 Jahren voraussichtlich wieder zweistellige Werte: Wie das Statistische Bundesamt am Donnerstag auf der Grundlage erster Schätzungen mitteilte, dürfte die Teuerung im Vorjahresvergleich 10,0 Prozent betragen. Allein die Energiepreise stiegen im September demnach voraussichtlich um 43,9 Prozent.
Im August hatte die Inflationsrate bei 7,9 Prozent gelegen. Verglichen mit dem Vormonat stiegen die Preise im September um 1,9 Prozent.
Nahrungsmittel wurden mit 18,7 Prozent im Jahresvergleich im September deutlich teurer. Unterhalb der Inflationsrate lagen Dienstleistungen, darunter Wohnungsmieten, die um 1,7 Prozent zulegten. Beeinflusst wurde die Entwicklung unter anderem von Preisanstiegen aus den vorgelagerten Wirtschaftsstufen, von Lieferkettenproblemen und weil dämpfende Maßnahmen wie der Tankrabatt und das Neun-Euro-Ticket ausliefen, wie die Statistiker erklärten.
