Zoll stoppt in Stuttgart Reisenden mit 400 Kilogramm Honig im Gepäck
Zollbeamte haben in Stuttgart einen Reisenden mit mehr als 400 Kilogramm Honig im Gepäck gestoppt. Der Mann transportierte flüssigen Honig in Kanistern sowie Honig in Waben in einem Reisebus von der Türkei nach Deutschland, wie das Hauptzollamt Stuttgart am Freitag berichtete. Bei einer Zollkontrolle am Busterminal des Stuttgarter Flughafens entdeckten die Beamten Ende Oktober die süße Fracht.
Den Zöllnern gegenüber erklärte der 57-Jährige, dass er den Honig weiterverkaufen wolle. Er konnte aber weder eine Rechnung noch einen Verzollungsnachweis oder die erforderlichen veterinärrechtlichen Dokumente vorlegen. Gegen den Mann wurde ein Steuerstrafverfahren eingeleitet. Die etwa 2500 Euro teure Ware wurde beschlagnahmt. Das zuständige Veterinäramt stufte den Honig aufgrund der fehlenden lebensmittelrechtlichen Bescheinigungen als nicht einfuhrfähig ein.
