Immer mehr Abiturienten unter Auszubildendenden
Immer mehr junge Menschen mit Abitur entscheiden sich für eine Berufsausbildung. Im Jahr 2011 lag der Anteil noch bei 23,0 Prozent, zehn Jahre später bei 29,7 Prozent, wie das Statistische Bundesamt in Wiesbaden am Dienstag mitteilte. Der Anteil der Auszubildenden mit Realschulabschluss blieb mit gut 41 Prozent nahezu unverändert, während der Anteil der Hauptschulabsolventen von 31,6 Prozent auf 24,0 Prozent sank.
Die schulische Vorbildung hat nach Angaben der Statistiker großen Einfluss auf die Berufswahl. So war 2021 der beliebteste Ausbildungsberuf für Abiturienten oder Fachabiturienten der des Fachinformatikers (10,8 Prozent). Junge Männer mit Real- oder Hauptschulabschluss entschlossen sich hingegen am häufigsten für eine Ausbildung zum Kraftfahrzeugmechatroniker. Abiturientinnen wählten am häufigsten eine Ausbildung zur Bürokauffrau (10,8 Prozent), junge Frauen mit Realschulabschluss eine zur medizinischen Fachangestellten und Hauptschulabsolventinnen zur Verkäuferin.
In einigen Berufen ist die Hochschul- oder Fachhochschulreife nahezu Voraussetzung für einen Ausbildungsvertrag. So liegt der Anteil der Abiturientinnen oder Fachabiturienten unter den Auszubildenden als mathematisch-technische Softwareentwickler bei 96 Prozent, wie das Statistikamt erklärte. In den Berufen Kauffrau für Marketingkommunikation und Medienkaufmann Digital und Print lag der Anteil jeweils bei rund 85 Prozent.
