Bayern will "Verfassungsviertelstunde" an allen Schulen einführen
Bayern will an seinen Schulen eine sogenannte Verfassungsviertelstunde einführen. Dies sei ein Ergebnis der Koalitionsverhandlungen mit den Freien Wählern, sagte CSU-Chef Markus Söder am Donnerstag in München. Es solle künftig einmal pro Woche an allen Schulen über die Verfassung gesprochen werden.
Söder sagte, die Idee sei auch eine Reaktion auf die Stärke der AfD bei jungen Menschen. Als Konsequenz daraus wolle die CSU ihre digitale Präsenz weiter ausbauen - dort gilt die AfD als besonders stark. Ihm sei aber auch wichtig, dass die Informationen für junge Menschen über Politik nicht nur durch die Algorithmen von sozialen Netzwerken wie Tiktok gesteuert werden.
Die bayerischen Schüler sollen den Plänen zufolge jede Woche eine Textstelle der Verfassung herausnehmen und sie im Unterricht besprechen. Für die Schulen solle es die "maximale pädagogische Freiheit" für die Umsetzung geben. Es solle einfach eine Einladung zur Diskussion werden, sagte Söder.
CSU und Freie Wähler beschlossen zuvor eine Fortsetzung ihrer Koalition. Neue Schulministerin soll die bisherige Staatssekretärin Anna Stolz von den Freien Wählern werden, ihr Parteifreund Michael Piazolo scheidet als Minister aus.
