Nach Tötung von Schülerin in Baden-Württemberg: 18-jähriger Tatverdächtiger gefasst
Nach einer Gewalttat mit einer Toten an einer Schule im baden-württembergischen Sankt Leon-Rot ist ein 18-jähriger Tatverdächtiger gefasst worden. Der zunächst flüchtige Schüler wurde von Beamten Donnerstagmittag vorläufig festgenommen, wie das Polizeipräsidium in Mannheim mitteilte. Er soll zuvor in Sankt Leon-Rot eine ebenfalls 18-jährige Mitschülerin getötet haben. Die Ermittler gingen von einer Beziehungstag aus.
Einzelheiten zu dem tödlichen Angriff in der Schule gab die Polizei zunächst nicht bekannt. Die Gewalttat trug sich den Angaben zufolge am Donnerstagvormittag gegen 10.20 Uhr zu. Die Schülerin starb infolge des Angriffs.
Anschließend flüchtete der Tatverdächtige, nach ihm wurde intensiv gefahndet. Die Polizei betonte, dass von ihm keine Gefahr für Dritte ausging. Wo er nun festgenommen wurde, war zunächst nicht bekannt.
Nach dem tödlichen Angriff wurden die Schülerinnen und Schüler der im Rhein-Neckar-Kreis gelegenen Bildungseinrichtung aus dem Schulgebäude gebracht und an einer Sammelstelle betreut. Polizei, Rettungskräfte und ein Hubschrauber waren im Einsatz.
