Céline Dion muss Europa-Konzerte erneut verschieben
Die kanadische Sängerin Céline Dion muss wegen gesundheitlicher Probleme erneut die Europa-Konzerte ihrer Welttournee verschieben. Sie leide an einer "sehr seltenen neurologischen Störung", die sie unter anderem beim Singen beeinträchtige, gab Dion am Donnerstag in einem Instagram-Video bekannt.
In dem fast fünfminütigen Video erzählt Dion sichtlich betroffen auf Englisch und Französisch, dass sie "seit langer Zeit gesundheitliche Probleme" habe. "Kürzlich wurde bei mir eine sehr seltene neurologische Störung diagnostiziert, die auf Englisch Stiff-Person-Syndrom heißt", erklärt sie. Die Erkrankung, die vor allem Muskelkrämpfe hervorruft, betrifft neben Dions Beinen auch ihre Stimmbänder: Sie hat Probleme beim Laufen und beim Singen.
Dion hatte die Europa-Konzerte ihrer "Courage World Tour" im Frühjahr schon einmal verschoben und auch damals schon über Muskelkrämpfe geklagt. Später erklärte sie dann, sie fühle sich "etwas besser", auch wenn sie manchmal immer noch Krämpfe habe.
Alle Konzerte, die von Februar bis April 2023 stattfinden sollten, werden nun auf März und April 2024 verschoben. Betroffen sind auch fünf Deutschland-Konzerte in Köln, Berlin, München, Hamburg und Mannheim. Mehrere Konzerte, die im Mai, Juni und Juli stattfinden sollten, werden sogar ganz gestrichen. "Es macht mich sehr traurig, euch heute mitteilen zu müssen, dass ich nicht in der Lage sein werde meine Tour in Europa im Februar fortzusetzen", sagte Dion.
