Allianz pro Schiene: Reisen mit der Bahn deutlich sicherer als mit dem Auto
Das Reisen mit der Bahn ist laut einer Auswertung der Allianz pro Schiene deutlich sicherer als mit dem Auto. Wie das Verkehrsbündnis am Mittwoch auf der Grundlage von amtlichen Statistiken mitteilte, haben Menschen in Deutschland im Auto ein um 53 Mal höheres Risiko, tödlich zu verunglücken, als wenn sie die Strecke im Zug zurücklegen. Risiken einer schweren Verletzung sind demnach sogar 140 Mal höher.
Die Allianz pro Schiene untersuchte für ihre Auswertung Unfälle mit Getöteten und Schwerverletzen von 2013 bis 2022. Dabei bestätigt sich das Bild auch im europaweiten Vergleich. Besonders unsicher ist Autofahren dabei wie auch schon in den Vorjahren in Rumänien mit rund acht Toten pro einer Milliarde Personenkilometer sowie in Polen mit sechs Toten pro einer Milliarde Personenkilometer, wie die Allianz pro Schiene mitteilte.
