Ärzte entfernen junger Frau in Magdeburg 32 Kilogramm schweren Tumor
Ärzte der Universitätsfrauenklinik Magdeburg haben einer jungen Frau einen 32 Kilogramm schweren Tumor entfernt. Die Operation des gutartigen Gewächses an den Eierstöcken verlief ohne Komplikationen, wie die Uniklinik am Mittwochabend mitteilte. Die 24-jährige Patientin konnte das Krankenhaus nach einer Woche wieder verlassen.
Die junge Frau hatte demnach Angst vor der Operation und verdrängte den Tumor deshalb lange. Erst nach gesundheitlichen Problemen suchte sie ärztliche Hilfe. Die 24-Jährige litt da bereits unter Atemnot, Schweregefühl und hatte an Gewicht verloren, weil ihre Nachrungsaufnahme aufgrund der Größe des Tumors eingeschränkt war.
Bei der Operation stellten die Ärzte fest, dass der Tumor bereits Verwachsungen am Darm und am Bauchnetz hatte. Er konnte aber vollständig entfernt werden.
