Le chanteur Kendji Girac a été très grièvement blessé par balle lundi dans les Landes et hospitalisé à Bordeaux où son pronostic vital n'est plus engagé après l'avoir été un temps, a-t-on appris de source proche du dossier.
Vers 5H30 lundi, les gendarmes ont été appelés sur l'aire des gens du voyage de Biscarrosse (Landes) pour un homme grièvement blessé par balle au thorax.
La victime, Kendji Girac, qui était alors entre la vie et la mort, a été immédiatement transportée dans un hôpital de Bordeaux. En début de matinée, son pronostic vital n'était plus engagé, a-t-on ajouté de même source, sans donner de précisions sur les circonstances de ces faits.
A ce stade de l'enquête, aucune piste n'est écartée, a-t-on précisé de source proche des investigations.
Originaire de Périgueux en Dordogne, Kendji Maillé, de son vrai nom, est né dans une famille d'origine gitane catalane il y a 27 ans.
Il a été rendu célèbre "un peu par accident", selon ses termes, lorsqu'en août 2013 son oncle a publié une vidéo dans laquelle il reprend à la guitare le tube de Gims, "Bella".
Il a ensuite remporté l'émission The Voice et vendu des millions de disques, porté notamment par ses hits "Color Gitano" ou "Andalouse", vus des centaines de millions de fois sur YouTube.
