Lufthansa ist wieder komplett in Privatbesitz
Die Lufthansa ist wieder komplett in privater Hand. Der Staat, der den Konzern in der Corona-Pandemie mit einer Beteiligung von rund 20 Prozent unterstützt hatte, verkaufte seine letzten Anteile, wie die Deutsche Finanzagentur am Dienstagabend mitteilte. Der Bund machte demnach mit dem Einstieg bei der Lufthansa unter dem Strich einen Gewinn von 760 Millionen Euro.
Die Lufthansa hatte in der Corona-Krise im Juni 2020 mit der Bundesregierung und der EU-Kommission ein insgesamt neun Milliarden Euro schweres staatliches Rettungspaket ausgehandelt - drei Milliarden Euro als Darlehen der staatlichen Förderbank KfW und sechs Milliarden Euro aus dem Wirtschaftsstabilisierungsfonds (WSF).
Davon bekam der Konzern 5,7 Milliarden Euro als stille Einlagen und rund 300 Millionen Euro, mit denen der WSF seine Aktienbeteiligung am Unternehmen aufbaute. Der Konzern nahm nach eigenen Angaben 3,8 Milliarden Euro in Anspruch. Schon im November 2021 zahlte die Lufthansa alle Finanzhilfen zurück und kündigte nicht abgerufene Mittel.
Der WSF verkaufte 2021 bereits Teile der Lufthansa-Aktien, Ende Juli dann weitere. Zuletzt betrug der Anteil noch rund 9,9 Prozent. Diese Beteiligung wurde nun an internationale Investoren verkauft, wie die Finanzagentur mitteilte.
"Die für den WSF insgesamt erzielten Erlöse aus der Veräußerung der Aktienbeteiligung in Höhe von 1,07 Milliarden Euro übersteigen den zum Erwerb der Beteiligung eingesetzten Betrag von 306 Millionen Euro mit 760 Millionen Euro deutlich", erklärte Jutta Dönges, die den WSF als Geschäftsführerin der Finanzagentur verantwortet. "Mit dieser erfreulichen Bilanz endet die Beteiligung des WSF und das Unternehmen liegt wieder in privaten Händen."
