Eon: Neuer Rekord für Strom aus Wind und Sonne im Januar
Die Produktion von Strom aus Wind und Sonne ist im laufenden Monat so hoch gewesen wie nie zuvor in einem Januar. Die deutschen Ökostrom-Anlagen speisten vom 1. Januar bis 29. Januar insgesamt rund 23,3 Milliarden Kilowattstunden (kWh) grünen Strom ins Stromnetz ein, wie der Energieanbieter Eon am Dienstag mitteilte. Der bisherige Rekordwert datierte aus 2023 als 22,8 Milliarden kWh Ökostrom erzeugt worden waren.
Auch die jeweiligen Sparten stellten neue Rekorde auf: Die Einspeisung durch Solaranlagen konnte laut Eon mit mehr als 1,3 Milliarden kWh ihre bisherige Bestmarke vom Januar 2020 (1,1 Milliarden kWh) übertreffen. 17,3 Milliarden Kilowattstunden wurden aus Windkraft erzeugt, mehr als im vergangenen Januar, dem bisherigen Rekordjahr.
Die Berechnungen stammen den Angaben zufolge von Eon-Analysten, die auf Grundlage von Daten der Bundesnetzagentur, Wetterprognosen sowie erwarteten Energiemengen im Strommarkt rund um die Uhr und tagesaktuell erneuerbare Energien vermarkten.
