Bundestag befasst sich mit "Holodomor" und Lage in China
Der Bundestag will in seiner Sitzung am Mittwoch eine Resolution zur Hungersnot in der Ukraine in den 1930er-Jahren verabschieden. Der gemeinsame Antrag der Koalitionsfraktionen SPD, Grüne und FDP sowie der CDU/CSU sieht eine Anerkennung des sogenannten Holodomor als Völkermord vor. Das ukrainische Wort bedeutet "Mord durch Hunger". Dem Holodomor fielen 1932 und 1933 bis zu vier Millionen Ukrainer zum Opfer.
Der sowjetische Machthaber Josef Stalin ließ damals im Zuge der Zwangskollektivierung auf dem Land massenhaft Getreide, Vieh und Lebensmittel in der Ukraine konfiszieren. Die Abstimmung im Bundestag ist für den frühen Abend vorgesehen. Zudem befasst sich das Parlament nach der Befragung der Bundesregierung (Beginn 13.00 Uhr) und der Fragestunde auf Antrag der Koalitionsfraktionen in einer Aktuellen Stunde (15.05 Uhr) mit den Protesten in China und der deutschen China-Politik. Außerdem stehen zwei AfD-Anträge zur Abstimmung, in denen deutsche Bewerbungen für olympische Sommer- und Winterspiele gefordert werden.
