Selenskyj räumt "schwierige Lage" an der Front ein
Die Lage an der Front in der Ukraine wird nach den Worten von Präsident Wolodymyr Selenskyj "schwieriger". "In den 346 Tagen dieses Krieges habe ich oft gesagt, dass die Lage an der Front schwierig ist und dass sie immer schwieriger wird", sagte der ukrainische Präsident am Samstag in seiner täglichen Videoansprache.
"Jetzt sind wir wieder an einem solchen Punkt. Einem Punkt, an dem die Besatzer zunehmend ihre Kräfte mobilisieren, um unsere Verteidigung zu durchbrechen", fügte Selenskyj hinzu. Die Lage in "Bachmut, Wuhledar, Lyman und anderen Regionen" sei schwierig.
Laut der Vizeverteidigungsministerin Hanna Maljar konnte die Ukraine einen Angriff auf Bachmut erfolgreich abwehren: "In dieser Woche haben die russischen Besatzungstruppen alle Anstrengungen unternommen, um unsere Verteidigung zu durchbrechen und Bachmut einzukesseln." Aber dank der "Widerstandsfähigkeit unserer Soldaten" sei ihnen dies nicht gelungen, fügte sie hinzu.
Zuvor hatte das ukrainische Verteidigungsministerium erklärt, Russland konzentriere "seine Hauptanstrengungen auf die Durchführung von Offensivoperationen in die Richtungen Kupjansk, Lyman, Bachmut, Awdijiwka und Nowopawliwka" in der Ostukraine. In Awdijiwka an der Frontlinie in der Region Donezk gab es nach ukrainischen Behördenangaben am Samstagmorgen "massiven" Artilleriebeschuss. In der Nacht hatten demnach bereits Raketen die Stadt Kramatorsk getroffen.
In der Provinz Saporischschja im Süden des Landes seien Granaten in 26 Orten auf "zivile Infrastruktur" niedergegangen, hieß es weiter.
