Das Bundeskabinett beschäftigt sich am Mittwoch (11.00 Uhr) mit den gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen der Corona-Pandemie auf Kinder und Jugendliche. Konkret geht es um den Abschlussbericht einer von den Bundesministerien für Familie und Gesundheit einberufenen interministeriellen Arbeitsgruppe. Gesundheitsminister Karl Lauterbach (SPD) und Familienministerin Lisa Paus (Grüne) erläutern anschließend die Ergebnisse und die Schlussfolgerungen daraus (12.00 Uhr).
Weiteres Thema im Kabinett ist die "Zukunftsstrategie Forschung und Innovation", die unter Führung des Bundesforschungsministeriums erarbeitet wurde. Ministerin Bettina Stark-Watzinger (FDP) stellt das Papier am Nachmittag (15.00 Uhr) der Öffentlichkeit vor.
