Bundestag verabschiedet Gesetz zum Schutz von Hinweisgebern
Der Bundestag befasst sich am Donnerstag in einer auf mehr als 13 Stunden angesetzten Plenarsitzung mit zahlreichen Themen (ab 09.00 Uhr). Am Nachmittag sollen die Abgeordneten das sogenannte Whistleblower-Gesetz verabschieden. Es soll Menschen schützen, die auf Missstände in einer Firma oder Behörde hinweisen. Der Bundestag soll zudem das Mandat für die Beteiligung der Bundeswehr am UN-Blauhelmeinsatz im Südsudan verlängern. Weiteres Thema ist die Debatte über den Sportbericht der Bundesregierung.
Auf Antrag der CDU/CSU debattieren die Abgeordneten am Nachmittag über das Thema "Handlungsfähigkeit und Lösungskompetenz der Bundesregierung". Die Union hatte die Aktuelle Stunde als Reaktion auf die langwierige Entscheidungsfindung der Ampel-Koalition im Koalitionsausschuss durchgesetzt. Ebenfalls diskutiert werden Oppositionsanträge zum Kohleausstieg, zur Unterbringung von Flüchtlingen und zur Solarenergie. Die reguläre Sitzung wird am Mittag für eine Ansprache des britischen Königs Charles III unterbrochen.
