Enges Rennen bei Parlamentswahl in Finnland erwartet
In Finnland wird am Sonntag ein neues Parlament gewählt. Einer Umfrage des öffentlichen Fernsehsenders Yle zufolge lag die oppositionelle Mitte-Rechts-Partei Nationale Koalition zuletzt hauchdünn vor der zuwanderungsfeindlichen populistischen Partei Die Finnen sowie den regierenden Sozialdemokraten von Ministerpräsidentin Sanna Marin.
Marin war bei ihrem Amtsantritt 2019 mit 34 Jahren die jüngste Regierungschefin der Welt und erfreut sich in Finnland Umfragen zufolge nach wie vor großer Popularität. Als Krisenmanagerin führte sie ihr Land souverän durch die Pandemie und den Nato-Beitrittsprozess. Die Nationale Koalition wirft Marins Regierung jedoch unverantwortlich hohe Ausgaben vor und gab an, die Ausgaben um sechs Milliarden Euro kürzen zu wollen.
