Die Bundesregierung rät angesichts der jüngsten Entwicklungen von Reisen nach Russland ab. Vor Reisen nach Südrussland in die Grenzregionen zur Ukraine warnt das Auswärtige Amt in seinen am Dienstag aktualisierten Reise- und Sicherheitshinweisen zudem ausdrücklich. Die russische Fluggesellschaft Aeroflot habe am Dienstag alle Flüge ins Ausland mit Ausnahme von Belarus eingestellt, weitere Flugverbindungen könnten kurzfristig ausgesetzt werden, betonte das Auswärtige Amt.
Unter einem seit Samstag geltenden neuen Mediengesetz könnten zudem private Äußerungen auch in sozialen Medien mit "unberechenbaren persönlichen Risiken verbunden sein". Daher werde "zu äußerster Zurückhaltung oder alternativ zur Ausreise geraten", hieß es in den Reisehinweisen.
Generell sollten Deutsche, die sich derzeit in Russland aufhalten, prüfen, ob ihre Anwesenheit "zwingend erforderlich" sei und andernfalls eine Ausreise erwägen. Nicht notwendige Reisen nach Russland sollten verschoben werden.
