Grünen-Chef warnt bei russischem Giftgas-Angriff vor nie dagewesenen Sanktionen
Im Fall eines russischen Giftgas-Einsatzes in der Ukraine hat der Grünen-Chef Omid Nouripour Sanktionen von bisher ungekanntem Ausmaß in Aussicht gestellt. "Unsere Antwort auf den Einsatz von Giftgas würde alle bisherigen Sanktionen in den Schatten stellen", sagte Nouripour der "Bild am Sonntag". Es gebe Indizien dafür, dass die russische Seite Giftgas einsetzen könnte.
"Das wäre der erste Einsatz von Massenvernichtungswaffen auf europäischem Boden seit 1918. Nach einem solchen zivilisatorischen Bruch gäbe es keine Rückkehr mehr zur Normalität." Er könne die russische Seite "nur davor warnen", sagte Nouripour.
